"Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch" Card

Hi guys!  I created a sweet card to give to my hubby today.  I ♥ Fall.  Pumpkins, leaves, cool crisp air, and the upcoming holidays....what's not to love?  Hehe. :)

The card is 5.5 x 5.5.  I used PaperTrey Ink's kraft cardstock as the base and then layered on some MFT Hot Fudge cardstock and some adorable papers from the Forever Fall collection by Bo Bunny.

This adorable stamp is from the "ALM Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch" stamp set by MFT.  I colored her up with my Copics and paper-pieced the pumpkin with some paper from the Forever Fall paper collection.  I layered the stamped image on a bed of gorgeous I Am Roses leaves.  I used Brown Skeleton Leaves, Brown Rose Leaves, and Green Daisy Leaves

I tied some neutral seam binding into a bow and created a cluster of flowers.  Below is a list of the IAR flowers used:
2" Curly Rose (painted with LSG "Red Hot Poker Orange" Magicals)
Puffy Semi-Open Rose Bud (painted with LSG "Red Hot Poker Orange" Magicals)

The sentiment came from the stamp set listed above and was stamped on a tab that was cut using the Ticket Tab Die-Namic by MFT.  We will see if hubbs appreciates all the little details....haha! :)

Be sure to check out I Am Roses for all of the products listed above and so many more gorgeous flowers and leaves.  Hope you enjoyed today's project and that your Sunday is filled with Love & Whimsy!

"You Mean the World to Me" Altered Canvas

Happy Wednesday!  I'm back again with a project for I Am Roses.  I created an altered mini-canvas to showcase one of my favorite pics of my hubby and I.  We went to Chicago in July and toured the Willis Tower (old Sear's tower) at night.  The skyline was beautiful all lit up and I wanted to create something to remember that special evening.

Here's a peek at the finished canvas...

I started out with a 5x5 stretched canvas that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  I painted it using my LSG Dark Chocolate Truffle Starburst Shot.  I then layered on some of my all-time favorite paper by Crate Paper from the Portrait Collection.  I centered the picture and then began layering my embellishments around the photo.

I, of course, had to include some gorgeous products from I Am Roses....would a project be complete without some IAR goodies?  I think not.  Hehe :)

I used my LSG Desert Moon Cactus Gold Glitz Spritz to add a bit of sparkle to this beautiful Paper Flower Spray and Small Ivory Gardenia.

The Brown Cherry Blossoms are another one of my all-time favorite flowers from IAR.  They look perfect on every project.  I also used some of those adorable Small White Crocheted Flowers, love those!!!

Here is a list of the other products used in this project:
You Mean to World To Me stamp set by MFT
TH Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Shabby Chic Treasures Bird Cage by Prima
Linen Acrylic Paint
Antique Linen Distress Crackle Paint by Ranger
Cardboard
Brown lace from my stash
Burlap string
Typewriter Alphabet stamps by MFT

I created a tutorial showing you this canvas from start to finish.  Click HERE to watch.  Hope you enjoyed today's project and don't forget to checkout I Am Roses.  Have a whimsical Wednesday! :)

Shabby Chic Birthday Card

Hi guys, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I created a "shabby chic" birthday card for I Am Roses.  I used the 5th Avenue paper collection by Melissa Frances.  I have been trying to create projects with colors that I normally don't use and this paper collection is full of them!  I like pastels, but don't typically create projects using them.

Here's the card...

I cut up a doily I had in my stash and I just love how cute it is in the corner of this card.  The postage frame is from the "First Class Friend Stamp and Die-Namic" set by MFT.  I just cut out the ballerina image from the paper collection and nestled it into the frame.  I sprayed the frame using LSG Desert Moon Cactus Gold.  I love the combination of colors used on this card.  This paper collection is so light and almost faded looking, but the beautiful I Am Roses flowers really make the colors pop.

Here are the IAR products that I used on this card:

I used all of the IAR products "as is."  IAR flowers come to you ready to use and are absolutely gorgeous right out of the package...hehe! :)  Aren't those crocheted flowers adorable peeking out from under the pale pink mini roses?  I love the texture element that it adds to the card.

Here's the inside of the card...

The sentiments used on this card are from the "Card Chatter - Birthday" stamp set by Close to My Heart.  Hope everyone has a week that is filled with Love & Whimsy! :)

Hip Hip Horray...Birthday Card

Hi guys!  I'm back again with another project for I Am Roses.  I created a birthday card using the Portrait Collection 6x6 paper pad by Crate Paper....love this paper pad!!!

I challenged myself to use colors that I don't normally incorporate into my projects and yellow is one of them!  Here's my completed card...

I love, love, love the yellow!  It makes the card look so cherry and bright.  I think I will choose yellow, more often....hehe :)  Of course, it's easy to incorporate different colors when you have beautiful I Am Roses flowers to use on your projects.

Here are the links to the flowers that I used for this project, check them out on the IAR website!

I chose to not alter any of the flowers and just use them "as is" and they are just beautiful.  I cut up some Maya Road rosette trim and tucked in a few rosettes here and there.

Here's a peek at the inside....
The birthday sentiments came from the "Card Chatter - Birthday" stamp set by Close To My Heart.  I hope everyone has a Sunday that is filled with Love & Whimsy!  Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out I Am Roses. :)

You're Beautiful Card

Hi guys!  I am back today with another project for I Am Roses.  I created a "Get Well" card using a bunch of beautiful products from I Am Roses.  Let me show you...

I just love how cute this card turned out.  The colors are so pretty together and the flowers just give the card that perfect touch!

The card measures 5.5" x 5.5".  I stamped the cute image using the PI Out on a Limb stamp set by MFT and colored her up with my Copics.  I paper-pieced her dress using some of the design paper and added a touch of glitter with my pink Atyou Spica glitter pen.  I cut her out using a circle nestie and then layered her onto a doily using the MFT Open Scallop Doily Die-Namic.

I cut the hearts out using the Heart a Plenty Die-Namic by MFT and then used the PI Waterlilly stamp set by MFT for the sentiment.  I used the flowers listed below.  The links will take you directly to the IAR website.

I sprayed the ivory gardenia with my LSG Desert Moon Cactus Gold and created those beautiful pink rose buds using LSG Pretty in Pink Pink spray.  Isn't it amazing how you can completely change the color of a flower?  Bunma's flowers are perfect just the way they are, but I love that you can alter all of these beautiful flowers from IAR to perfectly match your project if you wish.... absolutely wonderful, I tell ya! Hehe :)

Tucked in the cluster are some precious tiny brown-black rosebuds, 2 gorgeous rose leaves, and a stickpin by Maya Road.

Here's a peek at the inside...

I stamped the same image from the front of the card and used the Open-Scallop Doily Die-Namic by MFT again.  The sentiment came from the PI Poppy stamp set by MFT.  I created the butterfly using the Butterflies Die-Namic by MFT.  Just added a touch of bling to this card and it's complete!

Click HERE to watch a quick video about this card.  Thanks for stopping by today, it's almost time for the weekend!  Hope your Thursday is filled with Love & Whimsy. :)

Elegant Birthday Card

Hi guys!  I'm here today with another project for I Am Roses.  October is a busy birthday month for me, so I have been creating a ton of bday cards! Hehe :)  I created a shabby chic-esque bday card using the Sunshine Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye (Lost and Found Two Collection).  The card started out as a piece of tan card stock that I cut down to 5" x 11.25".  I then scored at 5" and 10".  This left me a 1.25" flap to fold over onto the front of my card.  I decided I needed to jazz up my cards a bit, so I chose to create a new layout.

Here's a peek at the card......

I used a bunch of beautiful IAR products.  The links are listed below.

Halloween Nesting Boxes

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!  I have an I Am Roses project to share with you guys today and I hope it puts you in a Halloween mood!  This is my first project for the I Am Roses Design Team and I am sooooo excited!!!! :)

I created a set of Halloween Nesting Boxes.  I used a set of paper mache boxes that I picked up at either Hobby Lobby or Michaels, (I can't remember which one! haha) but I've had them in my stash for a long time and figured it was time I do something with them.
I covered the lids of the boxes with papers from the Hocus Pocus 6x6 Petite Paper Pad by Pink Paislee.  I used my paper distresser on the edges and then inked them with TH Black Soot Distress Ink.

Here are the deets on each box....hehe :)

Bottom Box

I sprayed the bottom box with LSG Midnight Rendezvous Raven Starburst Spray.  I then used the Woodgrain Fence Die-Namic die by MFT to cut out the fence using gray cardstock and adhered it to the edge of the box.  I edged the fence with TH Black Soot Distress Ink.  The "spooky" banner on the front is cut using the Mini Pennant Die-Namic die by MFT.  I used gray cardstock and some of the DP to create the pennants and then stamped "spooky" using the Typewriter Alphabet Stamps by MFT.  I put some Recollections bling in between each pennant.  I then started layering on the beautiful IAR flowers!  The skull is from a Toil & Trouble Rosette by Making Memories that I took apart.

I used the 1" Black Paper Roses and 1" White Paper Flowers.  I sprayed the white flower with LSG Jazzy Jivin' Purple.  Tucked behind the flowers are some adorable Tiny Green Leaves.

This 2" Black Rose is a beauty.  Nestled beside it is another 1" White Paper Flower that I sprayed with LSG Marigold Yellow Orange.  I also used Mini Burgundy 2-Tone Roses and some gorgeous Green Leaves.

I used another 2" Black Rose and a 1" White Paper Flower that I sprayed with LSG Jazzy Jivin' Purple.  I also used some adorable Ivory Semi-Open Rose Buds and Tiny Green Leaves.

Middle Box

I sprayed the middle box with LSG Marigold Yellow Orange Starburst Spray.  I then used Glossy Accents to adhere down some Black Marque Letters by The Paper Studio to spell out "Halloween."  I used the All Hallows Eve acrylic stamp set by CTMH to stamp the spiderweb and the "Such a Fright" sentiment and again layered on some more beautiful IAR flowers.

Again, I used the 1" Black Paper Roses and 1" White Paper Flowers each sprayed again with LSG sprays and tucked in some Ivory Semi-Open Rose Buds and more Tiny Green Leaves.

Top Box

I sprayed the top box with LSG Jazzy Jivin' Purple and then used a damask stamp around the edges in black.  I love how that turned out, total accident....it wasn't planned but looks adorable! I then used a Oct. 31st sticker that I had in my Halloween stash.  The lid of this box is a beauty.  I love the cluster of IAR flowers on top of the black skeleton leaves, super cute!

Here is a list of all the products I used on the lid:
Green Leaves

I created a video HERE showing you exactly how I altered each of these boxes.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope your Sunday is filled with Love & Whimsy! :)

Halloween Tag

I'm here with a fun project for I Am Roses today.  Check out the adorable "witchy" Halloween tag I created.

I used a #5 craft tag by Ranger.  I started out by spraying it with my LSG Jazzy Jivin' Purple Starburst Spray and then stamped it with a damask background stamp using TH Black Soot Distress Ink.  I ran my Versamark ink pad around the edges of the tag and then added some black embossing powder.....so cute!!

I had this adorable die cut (I don't know which paper collection it came from), but I loved the tights and boots.  I used the MFT Ticket Die-Namic to cut out the ticket.  I sprayed it with LSG Gator Gumbo Olive Starburst Spray and then distressed and inked the edges with TH Black Soot.  I had the perfect sentiment to add to the ticket, isn't it the cutest?  It's the "Wicked" CTMH Stamp of the Month from last month.  I love how well it goes with the die cut.  I added a bit of black sequin lace from my stash, a button with some embroidery floss, a touch of bling, and of course....piled on the I Am Roses flowers.

Here are the I Am Roses flowers I used:

Hope everyone is ready to have a weekend filled with Love & Whimsy.
Thanks for stopping by today! :)
