"You Rock My World" Card

Hi everyone! I'm here today to share a project with you that I created for the Color Me Copic Club DT.  This is my 1st project as part of the DT.  I created a card for my hubby using the "Chelsea" stamp from The Greeting Farm. I stamp all of images onto heavyweight cardstock. I prefer "Perfect Panels" by MFT; however, they have recently stopped carrying them. So, when I run out I will be on the hunt for a new favorite. Hehe :) I stamp my images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Here's my finished image...

Copic Markers Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair - Y21, Y23, YR21, YR24
iPod & Shoes - V93, V95
Background - BG000

...and here's my finished card.

I cut the image out and matted her using my Nestabilities by Spellbinders. The card measures 5.5" x 5.5" and the paper collection is "Springtime" by Echo Park. I cut out the banner using the "First Place Award Ribbon" Die-Namic by MFT and the sentiment is from the "ALM Rock Star" stamp set by MFT. I added a touch of flowers below the sentiment.

I kept the inside simple, so I could write a message to hubbs!

You can check out a video of my card in the making HERE. I hope you enjoyed today's project and I hope the rest of your week is filled with Love & Whimsy! HUGS ♥

"You're so Bubbly" Card Challenge

Hi guys! I have a project today that I created as part of the Queen of My Craftroom Design Team Challenge. Our challenge for this week was to create a card using stickles, bling and ribbon.

Here's what I created...

I used MFT's weekly sketch from last week for the layout (MFTWSC58).

1. Stickles
I colored up this adorable image and paper-pieced her outfit.  She is from the Pure Innocence Blowing Bubbles Stamp Set by MFT.  I used Crystal Stickles by Ranger on the bubbles.  I ♥ how the stickles makes the bubbles look so real!

2. Bling
I created this flower using a brown paper lunch sack and the Pretty Posies Die-Namic by MFT.  Isn't it adorable?  I added a Small Ivory Crochet Flower by I Am Roses to the center. These beauties already have the bling built in, ♥ that.  I also put some bling in the upper right hand corner of the card to help balance my layout.

3. Ribbon
I used some gorgeous Creme Lace Ribbon by Melissa Frances.  It is super soft and lays flat, which is great for cards.  You can see it peeking out behind my paper bag flower.

Here's a peek at the inside...

Other products used not listed above:
Ellie's Tale 6x6 Paper Pad by Sassafras Lass
Crystal Stickles by Ranger

"Shine" Card

Hi guys!  It's Friday and I'm so excited for the weekend.  I created a super fun girly card today for Creating is Fun.  I ♥ when I create projects that put me in a good mood and this card is definitely one of those projects.  The colors just say "Hello Spring!"

I created this card for a friend who is just the cutest.  She wears adorable flower headbands and always has a smile on her face.  I know she will adore this card. :)

I used an old stamp by The Greeting Farm, "Wild Sprouts Gigi."  She is so adorable.  I love to color up TGF stamps because they have so much face and hair!

Trim, baker's twine, buttons...OH MY!  I used some adorable items from Creating is Fun.  I layered on some beautiful white trim and then wrapped black baker's twine around the center of the trim.  I finished it off with a bow and hot glued a black button in the center.  The "shine" sentiment is a rub-on that I put on some of the DP and attached it to a TH Memo Pin.

Here's a look inside...

Other products used not listed above:
"Out of Print" 6x6 paper pad by Basic Grey
Kraft cardstock by PaperTrey Ink

Now on to what I created...

I created this Valentine for my brother who lives in South Korea.  I loved how cute the PI image is in that adorable aviator suit!

I used this MFT sketch as inspiration.  I ♥ to use sketches when creating cards!

Isn't she a doll? :)  I colored her up with my Copics and paper-pieced her outfit.  I colored her goggles, cuffs, and aviator pin using my red Atyou Spica Glitter Pen.

I used some gorgeous laces from the Creating is Fun shop.  I layered a bit of neutral lace on top of the beautiful pale blue lace.  I love how flat these laces are, so they don't add a lot of bulk since I will be mailing this card.

"Paris is Always a Good Idea" Card

Happy Tuesday guys!  I'm on the mend of a nasty bug, but wanted to share an adorable card I created for Martha's Zibbet shop, Creating is Fun.  I created this card for a friend over the weekend using some of my favorite luscious lace that Martha carries.

I used this sketch to base my card on.

And here's how my card turned out...

I used an old paper collection by Glitz Design, "Laced with Grace."  I stamped the image using the "Who's that Parisian Girl" stamp set by MFT.  I paper-pieced her outfit and colored her up with my Copic markers and I used by black Atyou Spica glitter pen to color her shoes and purse.

Check out that gorgeous shimmer on the Eiffel Tower!

I used the Eiffel Tower die by MFT and some black cardstock to cut it out.  I then sprayed it with my LSG Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz...♥ that shimmer!

Here's a peek at the inside...

Just look at the gorgeous lace, I ♥ how it looks layered.

MFT "Stamp Your Heart Out" Guest Design Team Entry

Hi everyone, today's project is an adorable card I created as an entry into the MFT "Stamp Your Heart Out" Guest Design Team Contest.

I created this card for my Mom for Valentine's Day.  I just adore how cute it turned out.

The base of the card measures 5.5" x 5.5" and is made out of Kraft card stock by PaperTrey Ink.  I used some design paper from the "Valentine Sweetheart" Collection by K & Company.  I love all of the ♥s in this collection.

This adorable sweetheart is from the PI Paper Dolls stamp set by MFT.  I stamped her on a white MFT panel and used an oval nestabilities die to cut her out.  She is matted on a scalloped oval that I cut out using some of the DP.  I paper-pieced her dress and colored her up with my Copic Markers.  I used Crystal Stickles to jazz up the paper dolls.

I created the tag using the Tag You're It Die-Namic by MFT and some DP.  I added a piece of cardboard for a bit of dimension and stamped a sentiment from the PI Paper Dolls stamp set with Rich Coca Memento Ink.  I also used the Hearts a Plenty Die-Namic by MFT and put a sweet rhinestone in the corner.  I put a cute little clothespin at the top of the tag, sooo cute! :)

Here's a peek at the inside...

I used some heart DP at the bottom of the card and layered on some adorable borders.  I cut the first border out of Kraft card stock and the Simply Scallops Die-Namic by MFT.  I then layered on some adorable paper dolls that I cut out of the DP using the Paper Doll Border Die-Namic by MFT.  The sentiment was stamped using the PI Paper Dolls stamp set.  I added a touch of bling for a bit of sparkle!

I hope you enjoyed today's card.  I can't wait to give it to my Mom for Valentine's Day.  Hope your weekend is filled with Love & Whimsy!   HUGS :)

I Treasure You

Today, I am posting a card for our weekly challenge over at Queen of My Craftroom.  Our challenge this week was to create a card using a stamped image that is colored.  We weren't allowed to use any die-cutting machines (Cricut, Big Shot, Vagabond, etc.)  Not so easy, that's for sure.  Hehe :)  I used 3 of my favorite products: MFT stamps, I Am Roses flowers, and LSG Magical Micas.  The card is 5.5 x 5.5.

The papers I used are from the Perfect Day collection by CTMH.  I edged all the papers with TH Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.  The adorable mermaid stamp is by My Favorite Things - "Who's That Mermaid?"  I colored the stamp up with my Copic markers and here are the different combos I used.

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21
Sand: E30, E31, E33, E34
Water: BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18
Sky: B000, B00, B01, Colorless Blender
Fin: BG72, BG75
Top: R59

I colored the mermaid's fin with my Copic markers and then used my LSG Magical Micas in Tainted Love Teal.  Isn't the shimmer gorgeous?

I used some aqua satin pleated trim by Maya Road and then topped it with some flat back pearls that I had in my stash.  I combined a bunch of flowers from I Am Roses and used some starfish like you would leaves.  I just love how cute this is.  The large teal flower was originally white, but I used my LSG magical micas to color this up too!  I also nestled in some pearl accents to fill in the gaps.

The sentiment is from the "Who's That Mermaid?" stamp set.

Here's a peek at the inside.  Hope you liked today's project and that your day is filled with Love & Whimsy! :)

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi guys!  I'm back with another project for Queen of my Craftroom.  Our challenge for this week was to create something with a "Winter Theme."

I created a "Warm Winter Wishes" card with a snowman on it, of course! :)

I created this card for my brother who lives in Seoul where it's super cold.  The card base measures 5.5" x 5.5" and is made of kraft cardstock by PaperTrey Ink.  The DP I used is from the "Picket Fence" Collection by Lily Bee Design.

I love this snowman, he's so adorable.

I used the Holiday Hugs Snowman stamp set by MFT.  I added a bit of shadow with my T0 and T1 Copic markers.  I paper-pieced the hat and scarf using some of the DP listed above.  Fantasy Snow by Delta is so neat, I love how it adds texture to the card.
