Family Layout Challenge

Hi everyone! I have a project today that I created as part of the Queen of My Craftroom Design Team Challenge. Our challenge for this week was to create a "Family Layout."

I created 6 layouts for a "clean & simple" family album I am working on.  I bought this 8 x 8 album kit by American Crafts at TJ Maxx last week for $8.00!  It is the "City Park" collection.  I thought it would make a cute family album. I am planning to create a page for each person in my family.  The colors are so fun, they just put you in a good mood.

Now on to what I created...

Hope you enjoyed my family layouts.  Head on over to the Queen of My Craftroom to see what the other DT ladies have created for this week's challenge. Hope your Sunday is filled with Love and Whimsy. HUGS! ♥

St. Charles Scrapbook Page

I just finished a layout for my St. Louis Vacation Scrapbook.  I used the "Bee Happy" collection from ADORNit  for this project, again!  I told you I really love the look of this collection.  I used my new gel pen holder for my Cricut to write the words "Historic Main Street."  I am so excited to finally be able to use a thinner pen.  The Cricut markers don't work very well, so I am in love with the Cricut Gel Pen/Mini Marker Holder from Custom Crops. http://www.customcrops.com/article_info.php?articles_id=137 Next stop on my St. Louis Vacation scrapbook layout journey is The Gateway Arch.  Check back in a few days to see what I come up with! :)

I still feel like this page needs something, but not quite for sure what that something is.
This page could use another embellishment below the title, but I had trouble with anything showing up against the floral patterned paper.

St. Louis Vacation Scrapbook Journey

We just returned from our summer vacation to St. Louis.  I hope to scrapbook the entire vacation before our first teacher in-service on August 17th.  I am quite slow and indecisive and a page can take me up to a week, so we will see how this turns out!  Here are 2 pages I have finished already.
